Where do you start?

Sometimes it's hard to know exactly WHAT to teach your preschoolers and WHERE to start with them. 

Here is a formula for success:

1. Find the state standards for early childhood education in your state.

2. Included will be standards  for each academic area, plus social and self-help standards. 

3. Go through the standards and check off the ones your child can already do. Circle the ones your child needs to work on.

4. Go through the list and start planning activities, one at a time, that will teach the skills he/she needs to learn.
